Intervention or Inspiration
I recently came across an article in the Wall Street Journal entitled “How Much Fashion is Too Much Fashion at Work.” Reading this was the catalyst which has inspired me to finally debut my blog (which I have been mentally writing for the past 40 years). Of course, that was way before the word “blog” existed, and probably before many of you were born. My love affair with fashion possibly began in utero. As relayed by my mom, I, as a 3-year-old, commented aloud on a home-visiting doctor’s fashionable pants! This was clearly something that could have indicated the need for further intervention! Instead my designer/seamstress mother inspired and encouraged my inclinations, and here we are.
